31 July – 11 September 2014
What occupies an artist as time goes by? What are the thoughts guiding him? Does he focus on a single subject or is he inspired by the multitude of possible motives? What does he find when leafing through his archive? Which new topics does he turn to?
In this exhibition Volker Schrank presents an overview of the things that engage him as a photographer. He threads together different chapters of his work – from portrait and landscape photography to the mythographic deconstruction – to create a pictorial atlas of his worldview.
