A visit back home. Just under 500 kilometres east of Paris, to the far reaches of the nation: into the borderland. To where the place names have always sounded German and still do: Visite à Reichstett.
Natalie Wolff strolls through the small town where she grew up. What used to be familiar has become alien over the years. But distance sharpens the perception, changes the view on houses and hedges, gardens and garages.
This visit resulted in an affectionate, mischievous homage to those residents that remain invisible in the photos, who regardless of rules, fashion and zeitgeist follow their own personal ideas of style.
